UAE Excise Tax requirements
As per UAE Excise Tax requirements excise tax is required to be paid for the following goods:
- Carbonated drinks except unflavored
- Energy drinks
- Tobacco and tobacco products
The rates of excise tax in the UAE will be:
- 50 per cent for carbonated drinks
- 100 per cent for tobacco products
- 100 per cent for energy drinks
